I had been watching this immature Green Heron from a berm 25 feet away. At one point it was on the right end of the log preening, seemingly obvious to its surroundings. In one quick movement it stopped preening to stab its bill into the water and came back up with this bullfrog tadpole. It carried the tadpole down to the lower end of the log and used the log to help push the tadpole off its bill and into its mouth. Brick Pond 2015
